At Reformation Baptist Church, we believe that the local church is God’s primary means of disciple-making. We are a Reformed Baptist church. We seek to make disciples through the authority of God’s inerrant and inspired Word and by the power of the Holy Spirit. We hold high the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the expositional preaching of God’s Word, and the ordinary means of grace (Scripture, prayer, and the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper) as we covenant to walk together in Christian love.
Life at RBC is based upon three core pillars including the Worship of God, Discipleship of One Another, and Witness to the World. We seek to worship God as Scripture teaches, and to make disciples of all generations and all nations. We believe that Scripture is sufficient to direct our homes, churches, and lives in this world.
We believe that it is vital to be confessional as a church by summarizing what we believe the Bible teaches regarding key aspects of the Christian life and a biblical worldview.
Relax! God put the wiggle in children: don’t feel you have to suppress those wiggles in God’s house.
Consider sitting towards the front where it is easier for your little ones to see and hear what’s going on. Quietly explain the parts of the service and actions of the pastor, musicians, and other leaders.
Sing hymns, pray, and voice the responses. Children learn by mimicking your participation.
Make use of sermon notes handout to keep your kids engaged in the worship service.
If you have to leave the service with your child, feel free to do so, but please come back. As Jesus said, “ Let the little children come to me. “
